Beaches
Maps and beaches. These are two of my favorite things. Mostly because one leads to the other. Often I take a map and just go to places that seem like they might contain magic. Usually, I am well rewarded. Recently this type of wandering led me to a little slice of paradise. The water is shallow, there are sand crabs to chase, rocks to climb on, trees to rest under, and its away from the insanity. Pro Tip: Leave Pyeongtaek by 9:00am for best results. About Futbal In South Korea The Korean Futbal Season runs from February through October. However, the schedule may be adjusted during a pandemic. Cities across South Korea have teams that compete around the country. Most are sponsored by major corporations. Pyeongtaek even has a team that practices out of the Stadium in Bijeon-dong. Getting to the Suwon Soccer Stadium While at work my friend messaged me to see if I wanted to watch a soccer game in Suwon. Since I’ve never had the privilege of watching a live soccer game…

Water Parks and Pools: Cheonan Sangnok Resort
Pyeongtaek: To Do Water Park Nothing says Friday like going to Cheonan Sangnok Resort to swim and play with all of the students. Of course, I would come here with adults as well. Small but substantial – this is a great place for summer fun for everyone. Outside is quiet during rain, but hopping on sunny days. Inside is always busy, but not too busy on weekdays. The longest line on Friday was three people. Plus, it’s only about 1 hour from Pyeongtaek, so it’s easy and way less stressful…

In fact, I have found that the more someone doesn’t want to go, the more they seem to fall in love with it when they arrive. Of course, in three years a lot has changed. For example, there were actually clean people at the festival. I have no idea how this…
